Program Features:
Home Based: Families meet with their home visitor once a week and attend Family Days two to four times a month for group activities.
Full-day/Full-year Center: Children receive Head Start and child care year-round in a licensed child care center. A parent must work or attend school at least 30 hours per week.
"I am very happy with the Head Start program. The program is very beneficial to all preschoolers and having Taylor attend Head Start was a great decision!" - Head Start Full-day/Full-year Center parent
Head Start provides services in partnership with families and their children, ages three to five. Our goal is to prepare children for kindergarten and to support parents in the role as their children's first and most important teacher.
"The home visitor exposed us to information and activities that we otherwise would not have shared. Her visit is a high point in our week." - Head Start Home Based parent
